He took a step toward her and kissed her on the lips. “Thank you.”
“Is this a thank-you dinner?” She wasn’t interested in a payback.
He grinned. “I’d rather think of it as a date.”
She rose on tiptoes and kissed him on the lips. His arm rose and gently rested on her hip. She’d missed him far more than she’d realized. “A date sounds nice.”
