Killer (The Skulls #5)(52)
Author: Sam Crescent

The smile on her face was infectious.

“Feeling satisfied.” He drew her closer to him, rubbing his c**k against her stomach. “What about my wife?”

“Aching in all the good ways.”

Kelsey had stuck to his rules. Whenever she needed him, she sought him out for him to take care of her needs. He would never forget the way she’d walked into the clubhouse one Friday night and sat on his lap. She straddled his cock, leaned forward and whispered against his ear, telling him everything that was wrong with her body. He took the whole night trying to give her everything she needed.

“Baby, you keep talking like that and we’re not going to leave this house for a good long time.”

She rubbed his c**k making him moan. “Why do we have to leave?” she asked.

He was tempted to cancel, but he knew how much Eva worked for them. “When we get home, I’ll f**k you until you’re screaming my name. I promise.”

They walked into their home, laughing. He waited for her to grab the casserole from the oven and cover it. Killer took the car as he had nowhere to put the casserole on his bike. Kelsey hummed beside him, looking out of the window.

In the last nine months Kelsey had gotten her divorce, married Killer, and was no longer connected to Michael Granito in any way. The old ladies had taken her under their wing, drawing her back into club business. He loved seeing her at all the barbeques relaxing with all The Skulls.

On the other hand, Michael was working with the law in trying to break the trafficking pool. Alex at all club meetings kept them informed of his whereabouts. Eva’s father, Ned, also kept an eye on him. The leader of the fighters made sure his daughter was protected at every turn.

Arriving at Eva’s house, Killer cut the engine smiling at all the bikes in the driveway.

“Wow, it’s going to be a full house today,” Kelsey said.

“Yeah, Sunday lunch always is.”

He placed a hand on her back, walking with her to the front door. They walked straight inside without even bothering to knock. The commotion hit them right in the face. Tate passed them, smiling and taking Kelsey’s hand. “Stealing your woman.”

Before he got a chance to say anything to her, Killer was left alone. The table was laid for all of them. He saw Eva and Sophia working the kitchen, getting everything ready. Heading outside he found the rest of the men, smoking, talking, and drinking.

Shaking hands with most of them, he headed toward Tiny, Lash, Nash, and Murphy. Zero stood with them as well, but the other brother looked troubled.

“Where’s Kelsey?” Zero asked.

“Tate stole her. I swear if Tate had a dick I’d worry to never get my wife back,” Killer said, joking.

“My woman doesn’t have a problem with dick.”

Tiny lashed out, which Murphy ducked, laughing.

“Sorry, man, I keep forgetting.”

“Let’s not talk about my daughter and her habits behind closed doors. I don’t need to know what she gets up to.”

Lighting up a cigarette, Killer blew the smoke up to the sky. He listened to the men talk all around him. Killer was content to simply be part of it all.

“Any news on Mason Terry?” Nash asked.

Mason Terry had been the man to take out one of the guys hurting Kelsey.

“Yeah, he doesn’t’ want to come to Fort Wills. He likes his own life in Paradise Rocks, but if we ever need him again, he’s more than happy to help.”

Killer made a note to call the other man to thank him once again.

No amount of thanks would ever make up for Kelsey’s life. She meant the world to him, and he made sure everyone knew it.

“Dinner!” Eva yelled out of the back door for them all to hear. He stayed back, waiting for the other men to charge forward.

“Anyone would think they’ve not been fed,” Zero said.

“They probably haven’t.”

Killer made his way inside and saw Kelsey already sat at the table.

He kissed Kelsey’s head as he pulled out his chair to sit. Sitting beside her he saw Tate and Murphy were opposite them. Dinner started, and dishes and plates were handed around. He made sure to fill his own plate along with Kelsey’s.

“Make sure you fill her plate up,” Tate said, speaking up.

The whole table went silent.

“What?” he asked, looking from Kelsey to Tate.

“Nothing. She means nothing,” Kelsey said, glaring at Tate.

Eva was chuckling along with Tiny. What joke wasn’t he getting?

“You’re going to have to tell him.”

“You did this on purpose!” Kelsey turned to him. He saw she forced a smile.

“Is something wrong? Are you ill?” he asked, panicking.

“No, I’m not ill, but I’m going to be sick in the mornings for some time.”

“What?” He was missing something.

“I’m pregnant, Killer. We’re going to have a little boy or girl. A baby.”

“Pregnant?”

“Yes, I was going to tell you when I was sure.” She shot an accusatory glare at Tate. “However, someone took that away from me.”

“How sure can you get with a pregnancy test kit? You’ve taken one, and you just wanted to confirm with a doctor,” Tate asked.

Sinking to his knees, he pulled out her chair, resting a palm to her stomach. “We’re going to have a baby?”

“Yes, are you happy?”

Pulling her to her feet, Killer cupped her face. The entire room blew up in applause, whistles, and joy. He was going to be a father. Fear, happiness, excitement, nervousness, all of those feelings washed over him, but not once did he regret getting her pregnant. His wife was pregnant with his child.

Sitting down to dinner, he got slapped on the back and cheers from all the men while the women congratulated Kelsey. A family. They were going to be a big happy family. Shit, what was he going to do when it came to her giving birth?

He recalled Tiny’s reaction to Eva. Fuck, he wasn’t going to be able to handle it. Kelsey squeezed his hand, and he calmed. Whatever happened, they’d get through it together.

****

Kelsey squealed as the moment they entered their home, Killer picked her up and carried her upstairs. From the moment Tate had spilled the beans, he’d been so attentive. Killer was always attentive, but something felt different. His touch to her stomach was tender. The love shining from his eyes made her heart stop.

“We’re going to be parents,” he said, crouching down in front of her.
