Tiny (The Skulls #4)(4)
Author: Sam Crescent

Tiny agreed. “Whoever is after us has been around home. They’ve seen us and watched us without any of us knowing it.”

“We need to tell the others.”

“Not yet. We will when the time is right.”

“It’s your decision, Tiny. Know I’ll be here when you do.” Alex moved away from him. “Eva will leave if you don’t do something about it.”

He froze, turning to look at the other man. “Why are you saying this shit to me?”

“Patricia is dead. She died a long time ago. It’s time you moved on.”

“She was your sister.”

“And she’s my dead sister. I miss her, but it’s time to move on. Waiting around is never good news for a man. Fucking any woman with a warm hole is not going to satisfy you for long either.” Alex left the room after his words.

What Alex didn’t know was Tiny hadn’t missed Patricia in a long time. Yes, he’d taken plenty of mourning, and he’d gone through a stage of hating himself and guilt. The ring he’d once worn was lying in a drawer at his home. Eva had been the one woman plaguing his thoughts for so long. She was living, breathing, and didn’t give him shit for being part of the club. Her attitude was always directed at him. There was nothing else he could do about Eva. The sound of the door opening followed by the feminine scent of strawberry swamped him. Evangeline Walker was a mixture of sweetness and tough bitch. In the last few months he’d seen more of the tough bitch than he had in the entire time he’d know her. It was like her father visited Fort Wills and reminded her of who she was. He loved both parts of her, and that was what scared him.

“Are you hiding out in here?” Eva asked. Her voice went straight to his dick, and he was rock hard. The one time they’d been together he’d f**ked it up. Tiny remembered every detail of their time together even down to collapsing afterwards beside her. It was not and never would be one of his finest moments. He hated every second of the memory. Tiny had treated sweet-butts better than he had Eva. The one chance he got with her and he’d blown it. He’d gotten her naked, thrust away, found cl**ax in her sweet, tight cunt and fallen asleep afterwards. The memory alone made him feel f**king old.

“I’m not hiding from anyone.” Closing his eyes, he took several deep breaths before giving Eva his attention. She wore a blue dress with a belt around her waist. The fabric pulled in at the waist and flared out at her hips. He didn’t know a dress could be so damn seductive and revealing while also covering up her flesh at the same time. Her tits were more than handfuls for him. Tiny recalled her large ni**les, which budded when she was aroused. Fuck, his c**k pressed against his jeans demanding attention.

Her hair fell around her in waves in some kind of style. She looked sophisticated, beautiful, and everything he couldn’t have. Since finding out about her father, he found himself paying more attention to her. Eva was far out of his league even if her father ran an underground fighting ring.

“Could have fooled me. Tate is buzzing with excitement out there. She needs her father. You’re going to be a granddaddy before long,” she said. Her hands were pressed together in front of her. He wondered what she would do if he pulled her into his arms and kissed her, messing up her outfit.

“Don’t talk about me being a granddaddy.” Tiny shook his head hating the knowledge that he was getting old.

“You’re going to be fifty years old in a few months, Tiny. You better get used to it. There will be a little baby calling you granddaddy, and you’ll love it.” Eva smiled, taking a step closer to him.

“Are you going to be staying for that?” he asked.

“For what?”

“My birthday?” He didn’t give a f**k about his birthday. In the last few years Eva and Tate had celebrated the event with a cake, but he really didn’t care for it. Getting old was not fun at all. Every year he was reminded of how long he’d been fighting. What he was fighting, he didn’t know anymore. Fort Wills was safe. The past threat hadn’t risen up in the last twenty years. Tiny doubted anyone was going to come back now. Twenty years was a long f**king time to hold a grudge.

“I don’t know. My dad’s coming to pick me up at the end of the week. I’ll be out of your hair in no time. You’re probably ready to get rid of me.” She smiled at him. Her smile didn’t reach her eyes.

“You’re the one leaving. I’ve not showed you the door,” he said, hating the fact he couldn’t beg and wouldn’t beg for her to stay.

Eva stared at him feeling the intensity of his gaze. Not once had he asked her to stay, and yet she knew it was what he wanted. They were not good for each other. The last few years had confirmed that for her. This game they played was only hurting the both of them. One of them needed to make it stop, and she was going to be the one to do it by leaving. Vegas was her safety ground. Her father would guarantee it.

“Tiny, I’ve got to go.”

If she didn’t get out of Fort Wills now then she never would. Eva knew in her heart she would let Tiny walk all over her simply to be near him. Her love of Tate was nothing compared to the feelings this man evoked within her. At times she thought she’d drown on her love for him. No man, not even Gavin, had made her feel this way.

“No, you don’t.” He took a step closer, and now she had no choice but to back away. His presence alone made her feel like jelly. She took a step back, but Tiny kept on coming. Eva finally stopped with her back against the wall. His hands rested on either side of her head. Tiny was taller than she was, even in her heels. The top of her head reached his chest, and she had no choice but to look up at him. His dark brown eyes, so like Tate’s at times, stared down at her. Where Tate’s eyes were filled with innocence Tiny’s eyes were filled with pain and power. This man knew what he was doing at all times. He had a past, and it was colorful in a bad way.

“What are you doing?” She wasn’t afraid of Tiny. He’d done everything he could to protect her over the last few months. She’d been shot and hurt because of his club. No, Tiny wouldn’t hurt her, but his enemies would.

“Nothing you don’t want.” He leaned in close. His breath fanned across her face. She smelled the mints he kept inside his drawer.

Eva kept quiet waiting for his next move. His lips brushed across hers, and she jerked back. She stopped herself from slamming her head against the wall. The small touch was like a bolt of lightning through her body. Her cunt clenched as her ni**les hardened becoming attuned to this man before her. He owned her responses. There was nothing else for her to do other than let go.
