The Rocker That Needs Me (The Rocker #3)(35)
Author: Terri Anne Browning

“Angel!” My fingers tangled in her hair, holding her head in place as I thrust deep into her mouth. Her mouth stretched around me, and her eyes glazed as she tried to take me deeper with each thrust I gave her. She raised her eyes, capturing my gaze and I was lost. Having her watch me with those whiskey eyes of hers while she sucked my dick deep down her throat was too much for me.

“Fuck! Angel, I’m coming.”

Her eyes never left mine as the first hot stream hit the back of her throat. She kept sucking, taking all of me. She swallowed most of it, but some spilled from the sides of her mouth and dripped down her chin. I had never seen anything so mind-blowingly sexy in my fucking life as my come spilling from Lana’s mouth like that.

As the last drop left me, I pulled free and fell to my knees, unable to support my own weight a moment more. Lana’s arms wrapped around my neck and I buried my face in her bare chest as my body shook from the force of my release.

How long we stayed like that I couldn’t say. The air conditioning against our bare skin made us both shiver, and I finally raised my head. Lana pushed my hair away from my face.

“I’ve always wanted to do that,” she confessed with a devilish twinkle in her eyes.

I pulled her closer. “Angel, you can do that as often as you want,” I promised as I stood and lifted her into my arms. Her arms wrapped around my neck as I carried her toward my bedroom.

My room was a mess: clothes tossed everywhere, empty soda cans here and there. My favorite Fender was leaning against the bedside table, and there were half a dozen picks tossed on top of it. The bed wasn’t even made. Lana didn’t even blink at the sight of it all, used to the way I tended to live.

“I guess you don’t have a maid.” She grinned up at me as I tossed her on the bed. She bounced twice and squealed as I jumped down beside her as soon as she landed. “Guess you are really missing Layla.”

I snorted. “I missed Layla as soon as she married Jesse. The new housekeeper that Emmie hired doesn’t pick up the dirty clothes that your sister would.” I reached for the covers tossed haphazardly across the bed and kicked my legs until they were straight enough to drape over the both of us.

She giggled. “Poor thing!”

“She’s not as sweet as Layla either.”

The new housekeeper was a forty-something woman that spent more time frowning than smiling. I tried to avoid her, because she didn’t have the nicest of personalities. Emmie didn’t like her, and I wondered why she had hired the woman, but I assumed it had something to do with the way she made every surface in the house shine and how clean she got everything. She didn’t live in the guesthouse like Layla had simply because she had four kids and a husband that wouldn’t fit in the one bedroom house.

Lana pressed her feet against my legs, and I jerked back. “Why are your feet always so cold?”

“Don’t be such a baby.” She snuggled closer and I suddenly didn’t care that she had her icicle feet on me. Her head fit just right under my chin as she rested it on my chest. Midnight black hair spread over my shoulder and pillow and I ran my fingers through the ends, truly happy for what felt like the first time in my entire life.

Chapter 16

Lana

I woke with a warm man pressed up against my back. It took me a full minute before I realized I wasn’t still dreaming. Then the night before came flooding in and I smiled, soaking in the reality.

Raising my head, I saw that it was just after seven from the digital clock beside the bed. Muttering a curse that would have had Layla scolding me for sure, I untangled myself from Drake’s arms. He grumbled something in his sleep and tightened his arms around me for a moment before easing up enough for me to slip free.

My clothes were still in the living room, and I didn’t know if Shane was home or not. So I picked up the first shirt I stumbled across and smelled it to make sure it didn’t stink before slipping it over my head. You never knew with Drake sometimes. Without my sister around to do his laundry, I doubted if the shirt I was now wearing had seen the inside of a washer since he had moved in.

It didn’t smell bad. If anything it smelled sexy as hell to me, with the scent of his body wash and deodorant still clinging to the fabric. The shirt fell just short of mid-thigh, and I left the bedroom in search of my clothes and the possibility of coffee.

My dress and underwear were still where Drake had tossed them the night before. His clothes spread across the floor spoke volumes to what had taken place. I couldn’t help but smile a little as I slipped my panties on and headed for the kitchen. Last night had been amazing…

I stopped mid-stride when I noticed Shane standing in nothing but a pair of boxers in front of the open fridge. His hair was a mess and he needed a shave. The tattoos on his back and bare arms were sexy as hell, but I felt nothing as I watched him pull out a carton of milk and chug. When he was done, he put the milk back and turned around.

He took in my borrowed shirt and rumpled hair with a casual shrug as he wiped his milk-stash away with the back of his big hand. “Morning, sis.”

“Hey… Got any coffee?” I didn’t want things to be awkward. How many times had I seen Shane like this in the past? But never before had I just left his brother’s bed after a night of really heavy foreplay.

“Sure. You want regular or Jesse’s special recipe?” he asked as he pulled out the coffee beans from the freezer.

“Regular, please.” I didn’t think I could handle my brother-in-law’s special recipe. Only once had I made the mistake of drinking his brew, and I hadn’t slept for two days.

“You got it.” He went about making the coffee then made us both a bowl of cereal.

“Drake up yet?” Shane asked as he shoveled a big spoonful of bran flakes and raisins into his mouth. “I think he’s supposed to be at the studio at nine.”

“He was still sleeping pretty soundly when I crawled out of bed.” Shane raised a brow and I blushed, but he didn’t say anything. “Should I wake him up?”

He grinned. “Yeah. You better be the one to do that. It might be more effective than if I did it.”

I pushed my half eaten cereal away. “I have to get going soon anyway. I have to be at the gym at nine thirty, and I still need to get home and change.”

“Then you better make it a quickie!” he called after me, and I shot him the finger without turning around.

My face was still warm when I walked into Drake’s room. My rocker was spread out across the king sized bed. His tattoo was actually quivering with each breath he took while he clutched at his pillow. It took me only a moment to realize that he was in the middle of a bad dream.
