Lie Next to Me (A Millionaire's Love #1)(32)
Author: Sandi Lynn

“Fuck, Rory. A few sucks and I’ll be coming,” he moaned.

He placed his hands on each side of my head and, with a bobbing motion, I ran my tongue around his c**k as I took his entire length in my mouth. I reached under and gently stroked his balls as his stomach contracted and he moved his h*ps back and forth.

“Sweet Jesus, Rory. Oh God, don’t stop,” he said as his breathing became rapid.

One last thrust into my mouth and he immediately pulled out, taking his throbbing c**k in his hand and spilling his pleasure all over. It was just about the sexiest thing I’d ever seen. The look on his face, the sounds from within. I had a feeling that once he was inside me, I’d never be the same again.

I stood up and ran to the bathroom and grabbed a towel. I handed it to him and he smiled at me. He cleaned himself up, tucked himself back in his pants, and walked over to the sink and washed his hands. I sat down on the couch and watched him as he dried his hands. He walked over and sat down next to me.

“You.” He smiled as he shook his finger in front of me.

I grabbed it with my hand and held it still. “What?” I giggled.

“For someone who only had sex twice in her life, you sure as hell know how to give a blow job. You were amazing.”

Knowing that I’d satisfied him and he enjoyed it gave me the confidence I needed. Thank you, Google and  p**n . I didn’t want to tell him I’d researched it, so I just smiled and said thank you.

“You never told me where you learned to punch the punching bag like that,” he said as he ran his fingers through my hair.

“There was one in the barn behind my aunt’s house. My aunt had this guy friend who came over the house quite often. Okay, he was her drug dealer. Anyway, for a drug dealer, he was a nice guy. He saw me in the barn one day, punching like crazy and all wrong, and he taught me the proper way to punch and kick. I needed to be physically strong in case Stephen came after me. I just didn’t expect him to knife me from behind. I practiced every day, and whenever the drug dealer came over and brought my aunt her drugs, he would make me show him my progress and then he’d teach me some new moves.”

“He sounds like a very nice drug dealer.” Ian smiled.

“He actually was a nice guy.”

“Well, we should get going.”

I looked at Ian in confusion. “Where are we going?”

“Back to my house. So, pack a light bag because you’re staying the night.”

“No, I’m not.”

“Yes, you are, Rory, and it’s not up for discussion.”

“Ian, no.”

“Rory, yes. How do you expect me to get home?”

“Call a cab!” I exclaimed.

“I don’t do cabs. Come on. You have to be at my house early anyway. I promise you we can go running in the morning. Unless you’d rather go down to the gym and use that punching bag again. I was totally turned on watching you do that.”

I sighed as I stared at him. He pouted and made me laugh. “Damn you, Braxton,” I said as I playfully hit his chest.

He grabbed my hand and, with a wide grin, he said, “So you like it rough, eh? I’ll have to remember that. Now let’s go,” he said as he kissed my lips.

“One question. What does one wear as the business assistant to Mr. Ian Braxton?”

“You’ll find out when we get back to the house.”

“Huh?” I said.

He grabbed my hand and helped me from the couch.

Chapter 14

I rolled over and smiled as I looked out the window at the sunrise over the ocean waters. As I lay there for a few moments, I heard a soft knock on the door.

“Come in.”

Ian stood in the doorway and smiled at me. He looked incredibly sexy in his black sweat pants and black t-shirt, which clung to every definition his upper body had.

“You’re not out of bed yet?” he asked as he walked over and sat down on the edge. I sat up and stared at him as he took a hold of my hand.

“I sort of fell back asleep. That nightmare last night drained me again.”

“Your first duty as my assistant today is to call Dr. Neil. I thought maybe once Stephen was found and you knew he was safe, the nightmares would’ve stopped.”

“They’ve always been there. I can’t remember a night when I didn’t have them, except when I was drugged up for two days after you found me.”

Ian smiled as he brought his hand up to my face. “We’ll figure this out and get rid of those nightmares for good. Now, get dressed. We have a run to go for before we start our day.”

I stepped out of bed and threw on my yoga pants and tank top. When I went outside to meet Ian, he was standing by the water with his hands on his hips. Even the back of him was sexy, and I could sit and stare at him and his body all day.

“Hey, I think you’re falling behind, buddy!” I yelled as I ran past him.

“No fair.” He smiled as he ran and caught up to me.

I slowed down my pace and we ran together. I was curious to know more about Andrew, so I asked Ian about him.

“Tell me about Andrew,” I said.

“Why do you want to know about him?” he asked as he looked at me.

“He’s your best friend, and I want to know about your friends. Is something wrong with that?”

“No, I guess not. Andrew and I have been friends since we were thirteen years old. We’re like brothers. His dad died a few years back and left him his entire estate and business.”

“What about his mom?” I asked.

“He doesn’t see her very often. His parents divorced when he was sixteen and his mom started dating some guy that was twenty years younger than she was. As soon as his dad found out, he took her out of his will and left her with nothing.”

“Have you ever thought about looking for your mom?”

Ian suddenly stopped, and when he looked at me, anger consumed his eyes. “Why the f**k would you bring her up?” he asked in an angry tone.

“I’m sorry, Ian. I just wondered.”

“Well, stop wondering and don’t mention it again. It was a one-time deal, me talking about her to you that night and it won’t happen again,” he snapped.

“You’re right, it won’t happen again,” I said as I ran ahead of him.

I finally saw the anger that consumed him about his mother, and it frightened me. The rest of the run was silent as we headed back to the house. I took a shower, changed into my business clothes, and walked down the stairs. Ian was walking through the foyer when he glanced up and immediately stopped in his tracks.
